Rethinking learning is a burning issue nowadays in every area of education. Few people can access the help of a psychologist, a remedial teacher, or a talent-development teacher. Because children’s needs are so individual, the differentiated development they require shows a scattered picture in terms of learning methods and tools in everyday school life and in subject classes – just as much for the student who is falling behind as for the talented student with above-average abilities.

For teachers, the professional literature – none too rich to begin with – has so far not provided enough help for the 9-16 age group, because effective solutions can only be found by getting into the concrete situation. The purpose of this workbook is for children to gain not only factual knowledge and practical skills, but also experience and self-confidence.
While working through the workbook, children also receive important information about setting goals and consciously planning their future, as well as about the connections between proper self-assessment, emotions, and effective stress management.
