Briefly about art therapy:
Art therapy is a creative process in which drawing and painting open the inner gates of your soul. No drawing skills are needed for this, since the emphasis here is on colors and shapes. Attuning conversation, music, and poems help us release our inner tensions.
It helps to evoke our inner helping processes.
WHO DO I RECOMMEND IT FOR?
Among children, for those who…
- express their emotions less through words and more through drawing (for example, they draw a lot even during conversation or classwork),
- are aiming to process tense, traumatic experiences, specifically outside a medical setting,
- are searching for themselves, their possibilities, their life path.
It can be effective for teenagers because…
- it helps them open up, and uncover and resolve conflicts,
- it also supports self-esteem, self-image, and „Who am I?” processes typical of adolescence.
Among adults, for those who…
- are searching for themselves,
- have experienced traumatic situations and it would help their soul to unwind,
- if you would like reassurance on your own path, like an inner guide,
- if you have become weary of the daily monotonous work,
- are surrounded by a lot of conflict and would like to find peaceful solutions,
- for expectant/new mothers, to unwind a little, recharge, and release tension,
- for mothers and fathers to find a way to their children,
- and especially for those who are open to the arts and receive a symbolic message through them
Format of the session: individually, or in a small group (max.: 6 people)
